"The Barn (Est. 2002) is a national network of individuals dedicated to friendship, music, and good times. Once a place where friends came to gather, it has since become a state of mind. In "The Barn" we are all united; always together" The Barn is the place where Dan and his friends hung out every day and night throughout highschool, and when everyone was back from college. Although the physical structure of the barn changed over the 5+ years of it being a meeting place, it was always (and still is) where people get together. Literally every summer night, he and his friends would hang out at the Barn, playing cards, jamming, playing frisbee, etc. Physically, the Barn no longer exists as a place to hang inside---it was the second floor of a storage barn/workshop for Harkness Painting Co. that was converted into a

"Foreman's Basement", only a thousand times better. From early evening til early in the morning, playing cards, singing Beatles and other tunes, playing frisbee, whiffle ball, watching Conan (Dan was a huge Conan fan) watching movies, or just sitting on a coach letting the time pass, the Barn was the place for him and his friends to let summer pass by. Although it is no longer a place to hang out, it remains a symbol of our friendship. As stated on the facebook page, 'In the Barn, we are all united; always together."
